Legal Lab

The Legal Lab, founded in Constance in 2019, is our cross-location think tank where we develop new products, services and processes and rethink and redesign legal advice. Here, we develop your customised solutions in the areas of digitalisation, data protection, IT law and legal tech.
Focus
In addition to providing support in traditional legal advisory work, the Legal Lab focuses on the development of scalable solutions and products. Our portfolio ranges from template solutions to complex software tools, which we develop and optimise for our clients.
Our main focus
Our focus is always on increasing efficiency through synergies, knowledge exchange, knowledge sharing and standardisation. In terms of content, our work focuses in particular on data protection issues (e.g. drafting data protection notices or intercompany agreements), IT contracts (e.g. software development and licence agreements) and ERP projects (e.g. implementation projects and project imbalances) as well as legal tech solutions (e.g. document generators and auditing tools).
Industries
We have experience in many different industries. Since our foundation, we have successfully advised and supported clients from the automotive sector, the medical sector, the luxury goods segment, the real estate industry, the sports and leisure sector and the software industry.
Experts
The Legal Lab is a young team of lawyers, business lawyers and IT professionals. Here, specialised experts from different disciplines work on common topics.
Due to our proximity to universities and colleges in the region, we make it possible for young professionals from the legal and IT sectors to work on interdisciplinary, challenging and innovative projects, to advance their own theses and publications and to gain professional experience at the interface between science and practice.
