Nils Grießmann

His practice focuses on the registration, management, and defense of trademarks and designs, particularly before the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), and WIPO. In competition law (UWG), Nils Grießmann assists companies with cease-and-desist letters, misleading advertising, comparative advertising, green claims, and product imitation—both in defending against and enforcing claims. In copyright and licensing law, he advises on the use of texts, images, photographs, music, and software; on the drafting of licensing and agency agreements; and on copyright issues related to the use of generative AI. He represents his clients in out-of-court proceedings, in proceedings for preliminary injunctions, and in infringement lawsuits before regional courts and higher regional courts.

Nils Grießmann studied law at Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen and has been working in the field of intellectual property law since completing law school. After passing his second state examination, he worked as an attorney at law at Menold Bezler in the Commercial & Litigation practice group. In 2026, he joined Vogel & Partner in Stuttgart. While working, Nils Grießmann is pursuing his doctorate on the challenges of German evidence law in the age of digitalization.
