Oliver Ehret’s legal practice focuses on drafting and negotiating complex IT contracts for businesses (e.g., cloud computing, SaaS, outsourcing, traditional and agile project contracts, software licensing and protection) as well as the distribution of software solutions.

Prof. Dr. Oliver Ehret serves as a collaborating partner in the IT Law and Data Protection Division.

• Advising on, drafting, and negotiating major project contracts, particularly in the banking and insurance sectors, on behalf of both IT service providers and clients. Drafting contracts and providing legal support during negotiations for license, maintenance, and development agreements.
• Providing IT legal support in the preparation and execution of international M&A projects and assisting with negotiations. Leading the legal negotiation team during due diligence and contract negotiations through to closing. Providing legal advice on the integration and spin-off of business units.
• Negotiating and drafting contracts for SaaS projects at an internationally active IT service provider in the human resources and sales sectors.
