The legal advice delivered by Oliver Ehret focuses on the drafting and negotiation of complex agreements in the IT field for enterprises (e.g. cloud computing, SaaS, outsourcing, traditional and agile project agreements, software licensing and software protection).
Having worked as a lawyer at a medium-sized commercial law firm, Oliver Ehret then spent 14 years as the head of the legal department at GFT Technologies SE, an internationally oriented IT service provider for banks and insurance companies that is listed on the stock exchange.
In 2017 he was appointed as professor for private and international commercial law and IT law at the University of Würzburg-Schweinfurt. Based on many years of practical experience as a corporate lawyer, Oliver Ehret’s approach to delivering legal advice is a pragmatic combination of legal and commercial solutions.
Oliver Ehret studied in Germany and France, he was an assistant at the law faculty of Montpellier University and completed his doctorate there with a thesis on comparative IT law. He has numerous French and French-speaking clients.

- Advice provided on IT law issued during the preparation and implementation of international M&A projects as well as the relevant negotiations. Head of legal negotiating team during due diligence reviews, negotiation of contracts up to closing. Legal advice during the integration and separation of parts of an enterprise.
- Negotiation of all agreements and advice delivered on all relevant legal matters relating to the realization of SaaS projects for internationally active IT service providers in the fields of HR and sales.
